An immense amount of work is underway to launch the Academy by September 2008. Before our opening day celebration, the Academy campus will be constructed, 10-12 faculty members will be recruited, our unique curricula in leadership, entrepreneurship, and African studies will be developed, and 100 students from across Africa will be selected for the inaugural class. Today, a full time team of six individuals and a number of consultants and advisors is dedicated to ensuring that African Leadership Academy is a resounding success. The timeline below indicates how the school’s development is expected to unfold before September 2008.
